After successfully making the Piaggio MP3 three-wheel motorcycle in the world's first hybrid, this time Piaggio re trying to show spurs with childbirth Piaggio USB (Urban Sport Bike). Piaggio USB is powered by a gasoline engine two-stroke direct injection combined with motor rear-wheel-mounted electric. USB can run purely on electric power with a range of 31 miles at a cruising speed of 37 mph. Lithium-polymer battery pack can be charged via a standard outlet. In hybrid mode, Piaggio said motor helps provide 147 pounds-ft of torque. Piaggio says the USB offers a sporty driving in an environmentally friendly package. Approximately true will be mass produced ya? because it would be very interesting Piaggio fans in the ground water.
